Once a land of warring Viking clans, Galladan now bows to Fjurmann Ojntund, King of the Knurds. Its once-independent warriors—the Clans of Berren, Skinge, Ammellal, and Scodden—now serve a distant ruler, their traditions slowly fading under Knurd rule.

Yet, Galladan resists. In the misty Hills of Grinne, werewolves and ancient spirits stalk the night. Along the Coast of Skinge, fierce horse lords rule the grasslands. In the Scodish Thickets, druids invoke the old gods in secret. Caught between powerful empires and a kingdom that looks down on them, the Gallad fight to keep their identity, culture, and warrior spirit alive.
