Duwyn – A Swamp Town in the Grip of Bandits

Deep in the heart of The Swamps, the muddy town of Duwyn stands as one of the largest settlements in this treacherous land. Once the seat of House Hurmuir, it has now fallen under the brutal rule of Bandit-King Gyn, with his ruthless lieutenant Fasgard holding the town in an iron grip.

Surrounded by murky waters and troll-infested bogs, Duwyn’s people live in fear behind walls meant as much to trap them inside as to keep dangers out. The once-proud Duwyn Manor now serves as Fasgard’s lair, while the town’s Old Tower has been repurposed into a dreaded prison. Even the town church has been claimed by dark forces, now a shrine to Ar-Larakh, the god of Gyn’s cult.

But whispers of rebellion remain. Loyalists gather in Westtower House, sending secret signals beyond the town walls, waiting for Count Darstur to return and reclaim his father’s lands. The swamps may belong to bandits and trolls, but the people of Duwyn have not forgotten their true ruler. The time for reckoning is near.
