Bersmor

In the Grinne Hills of southern Knurden, the village of Bersmor stands as a symbol of defiance. For centuries, its people resisted the rule of the Burbric Empire, only to now face a new northern overlord, King Fjurmann, who seeks to unify the Knurdic clans under a feudal system inspired by Burbric rule.

Historically part of Galladan, a region that struggled for independence during the Sixty Year Rebellion, Bersmor’s people reject imperial customs and see their new rule as history repeating itself. Surrounded by dense forests and rugged hills, the village remains a tense frontier settlement, perfect for D&D campaigns, medieval RPG settings, and fantasy worldbuilding.
