Originally a small settlement of mushroom farmers, it grew significantly during the Dragon War, sheltering refugees in its vast caverns. As tunnels expanded, dwarves uncovered the Mountain’s Heart, a luminous rock believed to hold great power.
This discovery turned Jaerak into a battleground, nearly destroying the city. After the war, the dwarves reclaimed their home, declaring the Mountain’s Heart a sacred site. Now a thriving undercity of over 7000 dwarves, Jaerak stands as a testament to dwarven craftsmanship, resilience, and faith.
