Parera

Nestled beyond the Para’s, Parera is a land of diverse kingdoms, rich traditions, and deep-rooted independence. Unlike much of Wordal, it was never ruled by the Burbric Empire, shaping its unique identity. Though it became part of Elmara in 1155 AP, its people—whether Darabans, Hurans, Felisians, or Terrians—still hold to their own customs, seeing themselves as Pareran first, Elmaran second.

Parera’s landscape is as varied as its culture. The northern mountains hide deep forests and valleys, while the southern lands are a mix of rocky cliffs, arid hills, and grassy plains. Along the coastline, bustling villages welcome merchants from the jungles, selling spices and exotic goods.

Though unified under King Alfonte Estente, Parera remains defiant, resisting eastern influence. The king works to secure their loyalty with privileges and titles, but tensions remain. To the east, they are seen as unruly; to the west, their rulers are seen as overreaching. The spirit of Parera endures, proud and unyielding.
