The City of Merasbar

Merasbar, the seat of the Chief of the Meras Clan, has its humble origins in the time before the Burbric Empire, though it was only a small fishing town at the time. The small stone manor of House Karder was surrounded by a wooden palisade that encircled the old town and stones of Meras. When they were conquered by the Burbric Empire, the new overlords built a stone castle on an island off the shore. The old palisade was torn down and a new one erected around a much larger town. The Burbrics saw this as a valuable trade port on the northern shore and were planning to develop it.
